 Set within acres of peaceful countryside, Nent Hall Country House Hotel is a historic manor built around 1738 by Richard Harris, a local lead miner who made his fortune in mining. In 1858, an ornate tower was added, giving the house a distinctive silhouette that still defines its appearance today. 

The building later became a hotel, continuing its long story of hospitality. Many original features remain, reflecting the character and heritage of the house, and sit comfortably alongside carefully considered modern comforts. 

Surrounded by rolling hills, woodland, and open landscapes, Nent Hall offers a memorable place to stay. It also provides an ideal base for exploring the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
